Hey allI'm just wondering if anyone can point me in the right directionHow do I start? So far I have just lfs s2 ver 0.6F7Do I need to download a drift mod? If so I can't find where to dl it.Also I have tried to use lfs car importer but I get an error 'lfscimp.exe' 'side by side configuration is incorrect'Also the xrg rims manager gives the error 'you don't have a compatible lfs version'All I have done successfully is paste a s13 (onevia) into the game folder so the xrg appears as one, but this seems to be getting me kicked from most lobby's I'm guessing because the game is moddedThis is all very confusing, any help greatly appreciatedThanks. Using custom addons (car mods, textures, anything modifying the game appearance) is as easy as pasting any downloaded files into your 'lfsdata' folder. Backing up any default content beforehand is a good idea.Car mod downloads usually contain 'dds', 'veh' and optional 'skins'/'skinsdds' folders, which, as mentioned, should go into 'lfsdata'. The dds folder contains the mod texture files ('.dds' file format), the 3D content is located in the 'veh' folder, within the '.vob' file, and the 'skins' folder, which normally contains skin (exterior livery) files, holds a plain white '.jpeg' file, which should be used in-game.We currently have two kinds of car mods. Those created via LFS Car Importer can be used online as long as everyone is using the same mod and the server's '/modified' switch is activated in the server console.

Lfs

Mario kart 8 for android. You should check the official docs included with the game (under lfsdocs) for further details, though. There are also some old as well as many new mods created with the so called Gen Black Python script, which don't impose any particular online gaming restrictions, meaning you can join regular hosts without getting errors. The download pages usually contain info about the mod online usage.I should also mention that lfs car mods are unofficial game addons not endorsed nor supported by the game developers.Regarding tweak programs, you can check the latest prerelease, which has an integrated rim manager and should work just fine with version 0.6F.Ah, and welcome to DM. Custom car mods replace the entire default car groups/families. For instance, the XR family consists of XRG, XRT and XRR, meaning a single XR mod will replace all three cars. Same goes with the rest of the default vehicle content.

Basically, you can replace all default cars with custom ones at the same time.Gen Black is a script written in Python which facilitates the development process of custom cars, rims, tracks, helmets and other modifications. It's used in the process of creating mods, so you can't convert an existing mod after the fact unless you completely rebuild it using the script.Basically, a mod should be built with Gen Black in order to directly work online without requiring everyone on the server to have the same mod installed locally and the '/modified' host switch activated. This switch actually bypasses online cheat protection (the reason behind some mods not working online), so I guess as long as the server is '/modified' you should be able to join with any random mod you like. Not sure though, have never used it in practice.Regarding how to identify mod-friendly hosts, I guess anything with '42D', 'multimod', 'tweak' and 'NTO' in their server name should tolerate any car mods and performance tweaks. Also, you don't need to reinstall the game in order to use different mods, just backup your 'veh' folder in case you need the original cars, and copy-paste any mod files you wish to use into 'lfsdata'. /modified=yesdo i type this after pressing t?also is this if i am hosting one?so i couldn build up a library of cars? Like s13, 14, 15, 32, 33 and so on? I would have to paste the mod car each time?the fact that the onevia i am using means i cant join servers and get the j00s car message means its not black eagle hawk gen?what server do you guys use?
